Frequently asked
My institutional e-mail is not in YÖKSİS. What should I do?
You can still sign up. Write to us from Messages to get your profile matched; we verify your identity and link the profile to your account.
Can I sign up with a personal e-mail address?
Yes, but profile matching and the editing tools need your institutional address registered in YÖKSİS.
Why is my h-index different from Google Scholar?
We compute it from the OpenAlex citations of your YÖKSİS publications. Google Scholar also counts theses, preprints and talks, so it is usually higher. You can add your Scholar value with evidence.
Is membership paid?
No, akaturk membership is free.
